Our mission is to represent the State of Texas in Hidalgo County in all criminal cases. “Not to convict, but to see that justice is done. We shall not suppress facts or secrete witnesses capable of establishing the innocence of the accused.” (Article 2.01 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure)

In carrying out our mission we will:
